Combining 2 Cultures (C2C) is an annual conference for students who are pursuing interdisciplinary post-secondary education. The conference emphasizes the importance of interdisciplinary studies in university and in the world at large. It serves to allow like-minded students from different schools to meet, share, and celebrate their culture. C2C 2016 is being hosted by Knowledge Integration students at the University of Waterloo. The theme we have selected for C2C 2016 is “Explore: Past, Present, Future.” Exploring takes many forms, including but of course not limited to exploration of physical, theoretical, and spiritual spaces. The arts and sciences have expanded their horizons and are continuing to do so – we want to think about how things have changed and how they might look in the future. We hope that students will consider how exploring shapes their lives, both academically/professionally and personally.
