2012 Programming

C2C 2012 will have three different types of programming to participate in. The major component of the conference will be working groups, with discussion groups and skills sessions serving to enhance the working group’s experience and productivity.

Working groups:

6 hours of discussion and presentation preparation on the chosen topic.

Information on each of the working groups is available on the Working Groups page.

Discussion Groups:

90 minutes for which working group participants will be reorganized into smaller groups.  They will discuss each of their member’s working group topics for a portion of the allotted time. The hope is that they will be able to get new input on the topic or problem and feedback on what they’ve discussed so far.

The discussion groups’ memberships will be decided on once all participant applications are in. They will be made up of people each from a different working group, to ensure that as much outside feedback as possible can be gathered.

Skills session:

2 hours of individually learning a new skill or praticising an old skill, that could potentially be helpful to the working group.  We hope to have a wide range of skills sessions.

The current list, which may be subject to change, is:

  • Photoshop
  • Drawing
  • Science Experiments
  • Creative Thinking/Brainstorming
  • Critical Thinking
  • Writing
  • Origami
  • Juggling
